Scheduling an Inspection The Field Services Division inspects all City right-of-way construction. This includes temporary construction on any public street for drive approaches, curb and gutter, and all utility work. A yellow tag is issued only when certain conditions must be met in order to proceed. A red tag will be issued when specifications and procedures have NOT been met by the contractor or individual(s) completing the construction. A re-inspection will be required if red tagged and fees must be paid in advance.
What to Provide All inspections MUST be scheduled a minimum 24 hours in advance to 817-598-4245 so that it will be placed on the inspection list in the order it was received. Any questions regarding the inspection or results of an inspection should be directed to the Field Services Division at 817-598-4148.
